Bank Car Park

The rear car park access ramp to this town centre bank was extremely dangerous to vehicles and pedestrians in wet conditions. The steep incline and smooth nature of the tarmac also increased the risk of slip accidents when wet.

A rapid curing, non slip resin in contrasting colour was applied directly on top of the tarmac surface. An area 1 metre wide running the full length of the ramp was applied in sections adjacent to the pedestrian handrail. The wet slip resistance was tested at 66 SRV and the bank staff now report no accidents since completion.
