External Marine Plywood

A new access and loading ramp was constructed in marine plywood to the rear of a high street retailer. The operations manager needed a treatment that would provide good slip resistance in the wet and also seal the plywood from weathering and deterioration.

A liquid, rapid curing, non slip resin was applied directly on top of the plywood in a mid grey colour. This incorporated an anti-slip quartz particle that provided a wet slip resistance figure of 65 SRV. Since completion the non slip treatment has withstood extensive foot and wheeled loading trolleys with no damage and no slip accidents have been reported.
