Bank Vinyl Flooring

This vinyl floor covering directly in front of the banking counters of a major high street bank was identified as dangerous when wet due to a number of minor slip accidents. The risk of slips was also increased by customers carrying wet umbrellas..

The vinyl surface was treated with a clear, virtually invisible non slip treatment applied directly on to the surface. This increased the wet slip resistance from 22 SRV to 45 SRV without altering the appearance of the vinyl. Disruption to the business of the bank was minimal as the treatment was undertaken outside banking hours.
