Council Swimming Pool

The floor tiles to the showers of this large local authority swimming pool were found to be causing safety concerns due to poor slip resistance. Although the tiles had an anti-slip profile the surface was still extremely dangerous when wet. 

In 2006 the tiles were treated with a moisture reactive non slip treatment early morning before the pool opened. The slip resistance and safety was improved and the pool was able to open on time following completion with no loss of business.
