Vinyl - Coffee Bar

The vinyl floor covering in this busy city centre coffee bar & restaurant failed a slip test by the local council. The wet slip resistance was recorded at high risk and a danger to customers in wet conditions.

In 2007 the entire surface of the vinyl was treated with a clear virtually invisible non slip flooring system to increase the wet slip resistance of the very smooth surface.

This solvent free surface treatment was applied during the day whilst the area was closed substantially increasing the slip resistance with no visible change he the wood effect appearance of the vinyl.
