Leisure Centre Kitchen Quarry Tiles

As part of a health & safety upgrade project the quarry tiles to this sports centre kitchen were identified as a slip hazard. Although in outstanding structural order considering the age of the centre the tiles had a very smooth surface finish which was creating a slip hazard for staff.

All tiles were treated with a moisture reactive non slip treatment without altering the visual appearance. The wet slip resistance was improved to 44SRV from 22SRV and the staff reported a much improved and safer working environment.
