Terracotta Kitchen Tiles

The terracotta quarry tiles in this old junior school kitchen had little wet slip resistance which was a major problem to the kitchen staff. Budgets would not allow a complete replacement of the floor as the tiles were structurally in quite good condition. 

The entire kitchen floor was treated with a non slip moisture reactive treatment in term time one afternoon following closure of the kitchen. The wet slip resistance was massively improved with no structural disturbance and minimal disruption to the school.
