School Swimming Pool

The ceramic tiles to the pool surround of this school for disabled children were extremely slippery when wet. This was of particular concern to the school Head Master considering the disabilities of the children using the pool.

To increase the safety for the children and staff the pool surround tiles were treated with a non slip moisture reactive treatment in 2003. This was so successful with no slips reported in over 3 years the school took the decision to upgrade the system in 2008.
