Swimming Pool Showers

Slip accidents were occurring on a regular basis in these showers which are part of a council's leisure & swimming pool complex. In particular older customers were slipping on the tiles which were originally installed as "anti-slip" tiles.

In 2003 the entire area of tiles within the shower areas were treated with an invisible moisture reactive non slip treatment. This substantially increased the wet slip resistance with the results of no further slip accidents. Due to this success this council have further treated numerous swimming pools changing rooms and shower floor tiles throughout the district.
