Shopping Centre Application

Following a number of slip accidents a major risk assessment of the floors in this large shopping centre in Sutton Coldfield was undertaken. The management team identified a number of areas considered to be at high risk for slips. These included a sloping entrance way from an external car park.

Over 350 M2 was treated with a non slip moisture reactive treatment to improve the wet slip resistance and overall safety of the area. Since the work was completed in early 2008 there have been no significant slip accidents. The centre are now planning to treat more areas in the near future.
