Commercial Office Reception

The Spanish Porcelain floor tiles to this national organisation were extremely slippery to visitors entering the reception from the external car park. The main objectives for the health & safety manager were improved safety with no alteration to appearance.

In 2006 a non slip invisible moisture reactive treatment was applied to all tiles on a weekend when the reception area was closed. There was no alteration to the surface appearance of the tiles but wet slip resistance and safety was massively improved. No slips have been reported since completion of the work.
