The ceramic mosaic tiles to this large local authority swimming pool were considered to be a risk to swimmers due to the low wet slip resistance and the slope of the pool surround.

During an annual shut down for major refurbishments the tiles were treated with a non slip moisture reactive safety system. Over 200 M2 was treated which dramatically increased the slip resistance of the tiles from 28SRV to 38SRV. No slips have been reported since the work was completed.
