Leisure Centre Swimming Pool Showers

The quarry tiles to this large local authority swimming pool showers were a health & safety risk due to poor wet slip resistance even though the tiles were an anti-slip grade of quarry tile. Hair shampoos and soaps were also increasing the risk and making the area much more dangerous.

The floor tiles to the showers and in addition identical tiles in the baby changing room were treated with an invisible moisture reactive non slip system. This improved the safety in both areas by substantially increasing the wet slip resistance of the tiles.
