Non Slip Ceramic Tile Flooring

The side entrance to this retail outlet was identified for DDA compliance upgrade. The ceramic tiles were also extremely slippery when wet which increased the risk of accidents to shoppers. 

In 2007 a retrofit anti-slip Tactile Hazard Warning Surface was installed to the landing area with minimal disturbance to the ceramic tiles. A non slip resin system was then applied directly on to each step nosing and the entrance was opened to customers 30 minutes following completion of the store.
